LEGAL ACTION TAKEN AGAINST THOSE POLLUTING THE ENVIRONMENT
The Municipal Police (Zabıta) teams carried out enforcement action against environmental offences identified during inspections in the district.
During checks on Şehit Sezgin Keçeci Street in Çırkan neighbourhood, teams determined that an individual had filled waste containers with construction rubble. An administrative fine of TRY 50,000 was issued under Article 41/4 of the Misdemeanours Law.
In a separate incident, a vehicle was identified dumping construction waste onto a natural area on Göktepe Avenue in Gürece neighbourhood. The vehicle was also penalised under the same legal provision, with an administrative fine of TRY 75,000.
