FIELD VISITS AND ON-SITE REVIEWS CARRIED OUT IN YALIKAVAK
Bodrum Municipality continued its district-wide field visits in Yalıkavak, meeting residents and local businesses on site to listen to requests and suggestions directly. The programme, held on 21 August, brought together Muğla Metropolitan Municipality district service teams, deputy mayors, municipal council members, relevant directorate representatives and Municipal Police (Zabıta) teams.
During the visit, inspections were carried out at the new market area, with a target set for works to be completed by the end of September. Plans were also discussed for improvements around the existing market area and the section used by fishmongers and fishing trades. In addition, car parks, cold storage units, waste collection areas and toilets were checked.
Meetings were also held with local businesses and residents in Atatürk Square and the town centre, where requests relating to lighting, surface improvements and cleaning services were recorded. The programme concluded with further discussions along the Yalıkavak seafront.
