PENALTIES ISSUED FOR ILLEGAL DUMPING AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION
Bodrum Municipality has intensified enforcement against illegal dumping through joint work led by the Municipal Police (Zabıta) and the Cleaning Services Directorate. Using security cameras installed at various locations across the district, individuals and businesses found leaving garden waste, excavation spoil and other refuse in natural areas are identified and processed.
As part of this effort, during 2025 a total of 275 enforcement actions were carried out, resulting in fines totalling 10,218,000 TL.
