IN-HOUSE MANUFACTURING DELIVERS SAVINGS FOR THE MUNICIPALITY
The production of street furniture used in park, square and landscaping works across our district continues in Bodrum Municipality’s own workshops.
Through the Carpentry, Metalwork and Painting/Decorating Workshops under the Support Services Directorate, we manufacture a range of items for use in publicly owned open spaces, based on requests received from residents. Alongside this, we also produce various types of furniture for public service buildings, muhtarlıklar (neighbourhood head offices), and educational institutions.
The product range has recently been expanded to include additional items such as picnic table-and-bench sets, litter bins, park fencing and planters. By maintaining these in-house manufacturing works, we are able to deliver fast, needs-based solutions while also achieving significant cost savings for our Municipality.
The street furniture production programme will continue in line with the established plan.
