PUBLIC BEACHES PREPARED FOR THE SUMMER SEASON
Seasonal preparations have been completed at 61 public beaches, including 9 Blue Flag beaches, through works carried out by the Blue Flag Beaches Unit under Bodrum Municipality’s Support Services Directorate. Final preparations are ongoing at the remaining 6 beaches.
Renewal works have been undertaken across a wide range of areas, from ground and landscaping arrangements to the maintenance of showers, toilets and changing cabins. Safety buoys and lifeguard stations have been reinforced, while accessibility provisions for disabled residents and visitors have also been improved.
In addition to the 67 public beaches under Bodrum Municipality’s responsibility, preparations have also been completed at 18 beaches operated by Belediye AŞ (the Municipality’s company). All beaches are now open for public use.
