PENALTIES ISSUED FOR BREACHING THE SUMMER CONSTRUCTION BAN
Administrative penalties have been imposed on companies that failed to comply with the seasonal construction ban in Bodrum, which applies between 15 May and 15 October. Following the start of the ban on 15 May, Municipal Police Directorate (Zabıta) intensified inspections across the district. Checks found that, despite the ban, 203 construction companies continued operating, and administrative action was also taken against 51vehicles, including concrete mixer trucks delivering concrete to sites and vehicles engaged in excavation works.
Inspections will continue without interruption to safeguard public peace and to support quality of life during the summer season.
