The Mediterranean Literature Days, themed around Literature and the Environment, were organized in collaboration between the Bodrum Municipality and the Livaneli Foundation from April 15th to 17th.
Held in Bodrum, the Mediterranean Literature Days began with the theme "Literature and the Environment." The opening program of the Mediterranean Literature Days, jointly organized by the Bodrum Municipality and the Livaneli Foundation, was attended by Bodrum Mayor Ahmet Aras, German Minister of Culture & Media Claudia Roth, Socialist International President and former Greek Prime Minister Yorgo Papandreou, Artist and Author Zülfü Livaneli, Greek Consul General in Izmir Despaina Balkiza, German Consul General in Istanbul Johannes Regenbrecht, Secretary-General of the Livaneli Foundation Şule Bucak, former Australian Ambassador to Ankara James Larsen, and Authors Mehmet Y. Yılmaz, Zeynep Oral, Anna Pataki, Buket Uzuner, Zeynep Göğüş, Ayşe Arman, Nebil Özgentürk, along with many guests.
