A reaction to Greek Member of Parliament Ioannis Lagos who tore the Turkish flag at the plenary session of the European Parliament in Brussels. Mayor Ahmet Aras stated, "Believing in peace means serving humanity. Regardless of nationality, the flag representing one's identity is sacred and precious to them.". Mayor Aras invited people of all nations living in Bodrum to hang their national flags at their homes and workplaces. Our Public Relations Department's Field Solution team distributed flags to shopkeepers and citizens.
