Bodrum Municipality – the Directorate of Support Services and Bodrum Municipality Inc. organized courses in cooperation with the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation (TSSF) and the International Life Saving Federation (ILS) to train lifeguards according to their standards.
After completing their training and obtaining their certificates, the lifeguards have been assigned to duty at 11 blue-flagged beaches, municipal cafes and restaurants that have received tourism operation permits.
