BRINGING KARAKILÇIK WHEAT SEEDS TO OUR FERTILE LANDS

The agricultural development initiative launched by the Directorate of Agricultural Affairs in the Garaova region is bearing fruit.
During the 2020 planting seasonsowed a total of 800 kg of karakılçık wheat seeds were sowed on 38 decares of the municipality's agricultural lands, resulting in a harvest of 6200 kg. In the 2021 planting season, we sowed 500 kg of karakılçık wheat seeds on a total of 23 decares of the municipality's agricultural lands. From the wheat planted in 2020 and harvested in 2021, 1220 kg was processed into flour and packaged in 1 kg bags for distribution to the public. The remaining portion was used to produce karakılçık wheat bread, which was also distributed to the community.
In 2021, 500 kg of karakılçık wheat seeds were sowed on 23 decares of the municipality's agricultural lands, and in 2022, we harvested 4500 kg of karakılçık wheat.
