In commemoration of the 58th anniversary of the passing of our internationally renowned poet Nazım Hikmet, the 'Nazım Hikmet Week' was organized.
As part of the event, the opening of the Nazım Hikmet Library and his statue took place in Umurca Park, while the unveiling of the Nazım Hikmet statue occurred in the Belediye Square. Additionally, we arranged photo artist İbrahim Demirel's exhibitions titled 'The Faces of Poetry in Ankara' and 'Nazım Hikmet Calendars', as well as a poetry and discussion program titled 'Regarding Life'. Furthermore, the one-person show by theater artist Genco Erkal, titled 'My People...', was also included in the activities.
