In order to preserve the heritage of Herodotus, who was born in Halicarnassus in the early 6th century BC, our municipality, in collaboration with the Herodotus 3rd Age Academy Association, has launched the Herodotus Week and International Herodotus Workshop in his birthplace.
The "International Bodrum Herodotus Workshop," held as part of the "Herodotus Week," saw the participation of 23 renowned scientists from 8 countries.
