Following the earthquake that occurred in Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Osmaniye, Kilis, Malatya, Adana, Gaziantep, Adıyaman, Antakya, and Diyarbakır, the ‘Bodrum Disaster Coordination Center’ was established and took immediately action.
Under the coordination of the District Governorship of Bodrum, with the leadership of Bodrum Municipality and the solidarity of the people of Bodrum, total of 34 types of materials, which were collected and registered one by one, such as a total of 2,005 heaters, 125,431 boxes, 14,622 packages of baby diapers, 637 bags of flour, 4,425 jars of baby food and 19,897 blankets were delivered to those in need in the disaster area. The municipal employees with a total of 42 vehicles and 96 staff, served with 120 volunteers in the region.
