CYCLE AND RUNNING PATH OPENED FOR PUBLIC USE
Following the completion of surface works on Gazi Mustafa Kemal Boulevard in Turgutreis, delivered through cooperation between Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and Bodrum Municipality, the cycle and running path has been opened for public use.

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality carried out hot asphalt surfacing on a 2,900 m route as part of an investment of TRY 34 million. In the same area, Bodrum Municipality’s Public Works Directorate installed a 350 m rainwater line and constructed drainage inlets at 12 locations, while kerb repairs and renewals were completed along a 1,200 m section of the route.

In the final stage, the renewed 2,900 m cycle and running path was marked by the Public Works Directorate using a special environmentally friendly paint. In addition, 28 benches, 29 litter bins and 26 ashtrays produced in the Municipality’s workshops under the Support Services Directorate were placed at selected points along the seafront.
