Road Maintenance, Repairs and Renewals Delivered Across Bodrum
City Infrastructure / City Superstructure Completed 05.08.2025
Muğla Metropolitan Municipality teams have been carrying out asphalt and pavement improvements on roads and streets within their areas of responsibility. In parallel, Bodrum Municipality’s Directorate of Public Works teams have continued maintenance, repair and renewal works on concrete, block paving and asphalt surfaces across neighbourhoods throughout the district.
Road surface deterioration linked to underlying infrastructure faults was addressed through targeted interventions, while improvement works have continued in the Yalıkavak Bridge Club area. Across the district, gully inlets were cleaned, maintained and renewed; in addition, new gully installations were completed at several locations, including Gazderesi Avenue in Konacık.
During July 2025, asphalt, concrete and block-paving works, along with road layout improvements and children’s playground arrangements, were carried out in Umurça, Kızılağaç, Konacık, Çırkan, Koyunbaba, Dereköy, Akyarlar, Gümüşlük, Geriş, Küçükbük, Yalıkavak, Dirmil, Farilya, Türkbükü, Çamlık, Çiftlik, Çömlekçi, Pınarlıbelen and Mumcular.
Separately, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality renewed the cycle and walking route on Gazi Mustafa Kemal Boulevard in Turgutreis with hot asphalt. In Dereköy, asphalt surfacing and pavement construction were completed to improve transport safety.
