Road Renewal Works Continue Across Bodrum’s Streets and Avenues

Bodrum Municipality’s Directorate of Public Works is continuing road renewal works across the district on streets and avenues where infrastructure has been completed and where maintenance is required.
In Yalıkavak, granite sett paving is under way on Plaj Avenue and the connecting side streets. Along a 240-metresection of Plaj Avenue, 18 gully inlets have been installed and a 50-metre stormwater line has been renewed. In the same neighbourhood, block paving works are also continuing on Karakol Street and İlhan Street. The works are planned to be completed ahead of Eid al-Adha.
Asphalt surfacing works are also progressing in line with the programme. Over the past week, hot asphalt was laid on 3026 Street in Torba, Halil Saygı Street in Akyarlar, 4157 Street in Turgutreis (with a grader) and 6807 Street in Dirmil (using a paver). In addition, road cleaning was carried out on Akçabük Avenue in Akyarlar in preparation for forthcoming concreting works.
