Traditional Iftaar Dinners and the Türkkuyusu Pre-Dawn Meal Held During Ramadan

Throughout Ramadan, Bodrum Municipality’s Directorate of Culture and Social Affairs set up an iftar table each day in a different neighbourhood, bringing residents together to share the evening meal.
In addition, the Türkkuyusu neighbourhood’s traditional pre-dawn (sahur) meal, held for 39 years, took place on Laylat al-Qadr (Kadir Gecesi) in front of Türkkuyusu Mosque, with strong participation from local residents.
