Interventions Carried Out for 3,738 Stray Animals Across Bodrum

Bodrum Municipality’s Directorate of Veterinary Services has continued its work across the district with a focus on animal welfare. Since January 2024, municipal teams have responded to reports and provided the necessary intervention for 3,738 stray animals.
During this period, teams neutered 476 dogs and 2,945 cats, fitted microchips to 4,442 stray animals, and administered rabies vaccinations to 4,423 animals. In addition, 84 dogs and 50 cats were rehomed through adoption.
