MARINE LITTER MONITORING PROGRAMME CONTINUES
Enviroment / Cleaning Ongoing 14.02.2024
The third stage of the Marine Litter Monitoring Programme, organised by Bodrum Municipality and the Muğla Branch of the Turkish Environmental Education Foundation (TÜRÇEV), was held at Gerenkuyu Public Beach in Yalı Neighbourhood.
The clean-up event brought together members of TÜRÇEV Muğla Branch, staff from Bodrum Municipality’s Support Services Directorate and Cleaning Affairs Directorate, and students from Saliha Veysel Oktay Secondary School.
A total of 1,053 items of litter, weighing 11.6 kg, were collected during the event.
