STEP INTO HISTORY: CULTURAL TOURS & TALKS BEGIN

The Municipality is launching a new cultural initiative designed to bring the city’s ancient past to life. Through a series of Cultural Tours and Talks, participants will explore the rich historical heritage of Bodrum, from its Leleg settlements to the remains of Halikarnassos.
The first tour, led by the archaeologist Serap Topaloğlu, will take place on February 8, beginning at Pedasa Ancient City. A shuttle service will be available from the Municipality Square at 11:00 (Belediye Meydanı). Mayor Tamer Mandalinci emphasized the importance of preserving and sharing Bodrum’s history, stating that this initiative is just the beginning. Alongside the tours, a series of expert-led talks on various aspects of Bodrum’s cultural and historical heritage shall soon be introduced.
