Bodrum Launches Designated Motoparks to Enhance Urban Mobility

Bodrum Municipality, in collaboration with Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, has introduced designated ‘Motoparks’ to address the increasing demand for organized motorcycle parking spaces in the city center.

Three locations have been identified for this initial phase of the project, aimed at improving traffic flow and providing convenient parking solutions for motorcyclists. These locations include: Atatürk Street, Dr. Ekrem Uslu Alley, The intersection of Nazım Hikmet and 1006 Streets in Çarşı Neighborhood, Neyzen Tevfik Street, Tepecik Area

Marking and organizational work at these sites has been carried out by the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality’s Traffic Services Department and Bodrum Municipality’s Traffic Zoning Team. Informational signage has also been installed to guide riders.

Bodrum Municipality’s Traffic Zoning Team continues to collaborate with relevant institutions to identify additional locations for motorcycle parking, particularly in the central areas. This initiative underscores Bodrum’s commitment to enhancing urban mobility and ensuring more accessible and safer parking options for its residents and visitors.

By prioritizing structured parking for motorcycles, Bodrum aims to foster a more organized urban environment while accommodating one of the city’s most popular modes of transportation.
