HEALTHCARE AT YOUR DOORSTEP: BODRUM'S MEDICAL AID EFFORTS

Bodrum Municipality’s Health & Social Services Department, operating under the Directorate of Culture & Social Affairs, has been offering free medical equipment support to residents in need, particularly those who are bedridden, elderly, disabled or require assistive medical devices.
In 2024 alone, the department assisted 397 individuals across the Bodrum peninsula, distributing hospital beds, manual wheelchairs, crutches, walkers and commode chairs. Among these, 122 residents received hospital beds, 140 were provided with manual wheelchairs, 60 with walkers, 45 with crutches and 30 with commode chairs.
Applications are evaluated based on the applicant’s medical and socio-economic conditions to ensure equitable distribution of resources. Residents can contact the Health & Social Services Department through the following numbers: 444 00 48, (0252) 319 44 48, or (0252) 358 67 04.
