Bodrum continues to impose fines on individuals and businesses caught dumping waste carelessly on streets, roads and natural areas.

The municipal teams continue their inspections and actions against those who pollute the environment and illegally dispose of waste in streambeds, causing harm to both residents and nature.

In a statement highlighting the importance of environmental and natural cleanliness, Mayor Tamer Mandalinci said:

"It is widely recognized that Bodrum, with its natural beauty and rich history, is one of the most remarkable cities in the region. Keeping such a sought-after and stunning city clean is both our moral and social responsibility. We are identifying individuals and companies responsible for environmental pollution and applying legal sanctions. We shall continue our efforts and do everything necessary to create a cleaner Bodrum."
