THE MUNICIPALITY CONTINUES ITS SOCIAL OUTREACH WITH COMPREHENSIVE SUPPORT PROGRAMS

In 2024, Bodrum Municipality distributed 10850 social support cards, showcasing its strong commitment to community welfare and assistance across the region
With a focus on social responsibility, the municipality is dedicated to improving the quality of life throughout the Bodrum Peninsula. The Social Services Bureau prioritizes essential aid for those facing hardships.
Over the year, the municipality processed 2700 applications for support and conducted 1070 home visits for personal consultations. This year's efforts included the distribution of 10850 social support cards, as well as a variety of material assistance, 1038 baby diapers, 456 medical diapers, 18 units of baby formula and 557 water tanks were provided to those in need. In addition, 520 students benefited from school supply kits, emphasizing the municipality’s commitment to educational support.

Mayor Tamer Mandalinci highlighted the city's commitment to its residents:
“Our focus is on creating projects that contribute to the community’s welfare and make a real difference in people’s lives. In every step we take, we prioritize the well-being and happiness of our citizens. At a time when economic difficulties are on the rise, we are striving to reach everyone who requires support. I am proud of the tireless work of our Social Services Bureau, a vital part of the municipality. My deepest thanks go to all the staff, who devote themselves to serving the needs of our community. As the municipality, we shall be wherever our citizens require assistance, be it at home, in school or at the workplace.”
