MUNICIPAL POLICE INTENSIFY NOISE INSPECTIONS IN BODRUM

Bodrum Municipality teams conducted noise control inspections in 1,204 commercial institutions across the district.
The Noise Control Unit of the Municipal Police Department (Zabıta) continues its inspections and enforcement actions against noise pollution throughout the district. In 2024, a total of 1,204 establishments were inspected as part of complaints received and routine practices.
Following the inspections, actions are taken against establishments that do not heed warnings. Within this context, environmental noise measurements are carried out and reports are filed against establishments that play music without a live music broadcast license.
As a result of these inspections, 65 commercial institutions were fined. In response to recent noise complaints from the Gümüşlük area, inspections were intensified in the region. The inspection teams imposed administrative fines totaling 1,161,320.00 Turkish Liras in Gümüşlük district and 17,720,050 Turkish Liras across Bodrum.
The inspections by the Noise Control Unit of the Municipal Police Department will continue.
