TOURISM PATROLS IN BODRUM: ENHANCING VISITOR EXPERIENCE and SAFETY

With the summer season bringing an increase in population, Bodrum Municipality has deployed municipal tourism police officers (turizm zabıtaları) to enhance city safety and respond effectively to citizens' needs.
Bodrum Municipality's tourism patrols have begun their duties on the beaches and in areas with densely populated by foreign visitors to preserve Bodrum's touristic allure and ensure the safety of holidaymakers. Throughout the summer season, these patrols will actively ensure compliance with regulations, monitor environmental cleanliness, and assist guests with their needs.
Mayor Tamer Mandalinci emphasized that the tourism patrols were launched to ensure everyone enjoys a pleasant and peaceful vacation, stating:
"The tourism patrols will be working in the field to ensure the safety and comfort of the citizens and guests. Our primary goal is to provide quick and effective solutions to issues faced by foreign tourists through the tourism patrols. We have deployed the patrols on bicycles to prevent noise pollution, quickly address areas where motor vehicles are restricted and particularly emphasize the fight against environmental pollution. We remain committed to creating a pleasant and peaceful holiday environment for everyone by protecting Bodrum's natural beauty.”
