BODRUM SHINES BRIGHTER: SECOND PHASE OF CITY-WIDE CLEAN-UP CONCLUDES

The second phase of the city-wide clean-up campaign was successfully completed on Wednesday, May 22nd with significant participation.
The comprehensive cleaning activities, led by Mayor Tamer Mandalinci, took place across the districts of Bitez, Çırkan, Konacık, Müskebi, Yahşi, Yaka and Gürece. On May 22nd, Wednesday, participants gathered at Ortakent Market Place, Bitez Market Place and the old market area behind the Konacık municipal Police (Zabıta) Building for area-specific and general cleaning efforts.
The clean-up campaign, organized to raise public awareness, saw first of all the participation of Mayor Tamer Mandalinci, deputy mayors, CHP Bodrum District President Tuna Işın, municipal council members, district headmen, representatives of NGOs, municipal department heads, staff and residents.
The clean-up campaign will continue at regular intervals in all districts of the peninsula.
