VIBRANT SCENES MARK THE START OF BODRUM'S ANNUAL OLIVE BLOSSOM FESTIVAL

Mayor Mandalinci: "We Shall Continue to Greatly Enhance the Value We Place on Our Local Producers"
The second annual Olive Blossom Festival in Bodrum commenced with colorful scenes, featuring stalls where producers displayed local foods and handmade crafts.
Organized by the Muğla Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and the Bodrum District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, in collaboration with the Çiftlik and Kızılağaç Neighborhood Headmen’s Offices and supported by Bodrum Municipality, the festival was attended by Bodrum District Governor Mustafa Çit, Mayor Tamer Mandalinci, Bodrum District Agriculture Director Durmuş Çakır, Kızılağaç Neighborhood Headman Mehmet Kızılağaç, Çiftlik Neighborhood Headman Hasan Kocaman, residents of Bodrum, local and foreign tourists.
Following the opening remarks, the festival continued with folk dance performances by students and various competitions. Protocol members toured each stall, inspecting and purchasing products.
The Olive Blossom Festival will continue at Bodrum Municipality's Yalı Cafe until the evening of Sunday, May 19th.
