Consular delegations paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Tamer MANDALİNCİ at his office to explore avenues for enhancing international relations. Discussions were held on ways to strengthen international relations through various initiatives.


Among the attendees were Aslı ERBEKTAŞ from the United Kingdom Consulate, Honorary Dylan ÖZATACAN from the Kingdom of Belgium, Fatih Can EKŞİ from Austria, and Gülay Kaman KAPLAN from the Federal Republic of Germany.

The meeting included discussions on the assessment of the foreign national population in Bodrum according to TUIK data, emphasizing the significance of this information for the municipality's foreign affairs management.

Mayor MANDALİNCİ highlighted the municipality's commitment to fostering a sense of belonging among foreign nationals and expressed gratitude for their acknowledgment of the support provided during challenging times.

Ukrainian Consul Oleksandr VORONIN, accompanied by Assistant Mission Chief  Anatolii Maliuska and President of ‘the Ukrainians of Bodrum’ Association Iryna Demiroğlu, expressed gratitude for the Municipality's contributions and discussed the potential benefits of sister city relationships.

The delegation wished Mayor Mandalinci success in his new role, expressing delight in seeing a young mayor in office.

Mayor MANDALİNCİ emphasized the importance of youth engagement in both politics and social life, stating, "Having young people involved is significant for the world."
