COUNTDOWN TO SUMMER: PREPARATIONS UNDERWAY FOR PUBLIC BEACHES

With summer on the horizon, Bodrum Municipality is in full swing preparing its 83 public beaches.
Under the meticulous oversight of the Beach Department within the Support Services Directorate, beachfronts are being arranged, umbrellas set up and thorough inspections conducted to ensure readiness. Notably, umbrella installations have been completed at key public beaches like Gerenkuyu, Paşatarlası, Gümbet, Bitez, Küçükbük, Gündoğan and Turgutreis Günbatımı. A total of 686 umbrellas have been set up throughout Bodrum.
In addition to umbrella setups, ongoing tasks include beach leveling, maintenance of showers, sinks and dressing cabins, and the organization of pathways and swimming lanes for accessibility. The removal of buoys by June 1st will mark the completion of beach preparations.
Officials from the Support Services Directorate of the Bodrum Municipality have emphasized that the works at the Bodrum Municipality public beaches are being carried out in accordance with the regions where tourism intensity begins.
