BODRUM'S ALLURE SHINES BRIGHT AT THE ITB BERLIN FAIR

Bodrum left its mark at the ITB Berlin 2024 Tourism Fair, held in Germany from March 5th to 7th, by securing a prominent spot within the booth of the ‘Turkish Tourism Promotion & Development Agency’.
The ITB Berlin Tourism Fair, renowned as one of the world's largest tourism exhibitions since 1966, took place this year from March 5th to 7th, 2024. Throughout the event, the Bodrum booth captivated visitors for three consecutive days.
The Bodrum booth, attracting a diverse audience of local and international visitors, hosted esteemed guests including members of the Bodrum Promotion Foundation (BOTAV) board of directors, representatives from chambers of commerce and NGOs in Bodrum, as well as professionals from accommodation providers operating in Bodrum. Informative brochures introducing Bodrum were presented, offering valuable insights about the city's offerings.
The members of ‘The Most Beautiful Bays In The World’ board of directors, such as Alptekin Polat, a founding member of the BOTAV Board of Directors, and Ömer Faruk Dengiz, Chairman of the Bodrum Hoteliers Association, graced the Bodrum booth with their presence.
Galip Gür, the Secretary General of BOTAV, actively engaged in fruitful discussions with visitors to promote Bodrum during the fair. Gür emphasized the keen interest of tour operator officials in Bodrum and expressed optimism for 2024 as a promising year for tourism based on the positive feedback received.
Throughout the fair, preliminary discussions were initiated with a prominent television channel for potential filming opportunities in Bodrum, while meetings were also held with representatives of travel agencies and airline companies from various countries.
The fair, held in Berlin, Germany, drew thousands of visitors and witnessed the participation of 100,000 professionals from 181 countries.
