BODRUM MUNICIPALITY FOSTERS HEIRLOOM SEED SOWING
Bodrum Municipality is sowing seeds for summer as part of its agricultural development efforts.

The Agricultural Services Directorate of Bodrum Municipality has commenced seed planting to ensure the continuity of heirloom seeds, which symbolize the region's historical uniqueness, richness and diversity.

Through efforts for summer seedlings, 20.520 local aubergine and 19.872 local tomato pepper seeds have been planted. Additionally, 12.744 capia pepper, 19.656 hot pepper, 20.304 charleston, and 20.520 eggplant seeds have been sown. The heirloom pepper seeds, now germinating, are being transferred into production greenhouses by the teams.

In the upcoming days, the Agricultural Services Directorate will also conduct the planting of tomato, cucumber, melon and watermelon seeds.

Bodrum Seed Exchange Festival
On Sunday, March 3th in collaboration with Bodrum Municipality and Bodrum Local Seed Associaton the “Bodrum Local Seed Exchange Festival” will be held at Kumbahçe neighborhood.
