BODRUM MAKES A SPLASH AT INTERNATIONAL FAIR

The Bodrum booth stole the spotlight at the fair held in Utrecht, Netherlands, from January 10 to 14.
As part of the Türkiye Tourism Promotion & Development Agency's display at the first international fair of 2024, the Bodrum booth captured the interest of attendees. The Bodrum booth at the Utrecht Vakantiebeurs Tourism Fair, the largest tourism fair in the Netherlands, is expected to attract nearly 100,000 visitors this year.
Ahmet Aras, the Mayor and the Chairman of the Bodrum Promotion Foundation Board (BOTAV), along with Bodrum Promotion Foundation Secretary General Galip Gür, conducted promotional activities for the Bodrum Peninsula under the organization of BOTAV at the fair. During the fair, Mayor Aras established significant contacts and the Turkish Ambassador to the Netherlands paid a visit to the Bodrum booth.
Meetings held to increase flights from the Netherlands to Bodrum
Mayor Ahmet Aras engaged in discussions with representatives of various travel agencies and airline companies from the Netherlands on the fair's exclusive first day for professional visitors. Participants, including Bodrum Hoteliers Association Chairman Ömer Faruk Dengiz, Member of the Bodrum Hoteliers Association Ali Şir Şahin, Bodrum Promotion Foundation Members, representatives of accommodation industry and tourism professionals, aimed to promote the Bodrum Peninsula and increase the number of tourists coming to Bodrum from the Netherlands. Meetings, particularly focused on expanding flights from Netherlands to Bodrum, were held.
