The protocol ceremony was attended by Mayor Ahmet Aras, Chairman of the Board of Directors - Bodrum Chamber of Commerce, Mahmut Serdar Kocadon; the Board Member Gürkan Topan and members of the press.

Under this protocol, the touristic Bodrum map, prepared by Bodrum Municipality's Press, Publications & Public Relations Directorate, with exclusive rights held by the Municipality, will be employed by the Bodrum Chamber of Commerce for the promotion of the city.

Mahmut Serdar Kocadon, the Chairman of the Board of Directors (Bodrum Chamber of Commerce), highlighted that the majority of tourists coming to Bodrum search for a classic map, stating, "Especially middle-aged and older tourists arriving by ships explore the market and historical sites by referring to a classic map. By enhancing the existing map, we aim to contribute to Bodrum's tourism, making a positive impact on both local and international tourists during the summer season of 2024."

Gürkan Topan, Board Member of the Bodrum Chamber of Commerce, remarked, "As the Bodrum Chamber of Commerce, our objective is to print a substantial number of maps and provide them to tourist hubs such as airports and cruise ship docking piers and to continue printing as demand requires."

The map, printed in both Turkish and English with a total of 100.000 copies to date, remains an ongoing contributor to Bodrum's promotion at various venues, including fairs, airports, bus terminals and through tourism-related businesses. The Touristic Bodrum Map is also accessible to the public through the websites of Bodrum Municipality and the Bodrum Chamber of Commerce.
