THE II. PEKSIMET CHILDREN & WOMEN FESTIVAL SUCCESSFULLY HELD

The II. Peksimet Children & Women Festival, organized by the Peksimet Education & Culture Association, garnered significant attention.
With the support of Bodrum Municipality and organized by Bodrum City Council Women's Assembly, the "II. Peksimet Children & Women Festival" took place on Saturday, December 2nd, at the Peksimet Children's Library. Women and children from Peksimet, Akaçalan, Mumcular, Yakaköy, İslamhaneleri, Gümüşlük neighborhoods and the central district of Bodrum gathered for the festival.
During the festival, Güler Sümer, Chairman of PEKDER (Peksımet Education & Culture Association), delivered the opening speech. Certificates were awarded to participants who successfully completed the Women's Literacy Course, conducted by Literacy Instructor Nejla Ekicioğlu.
As part of the collaborative effort with the "Humanely Living Association" in Bodrum, a painting competition titled "Street Animals" was organized. Successful children participants were presented with gifts, and art workshops showcased works produced throughout the year.
Following a speech by Elif Aytaç from the City Council, children and women enjoyed entertaining moments with a concert by the Naninani Children's Songs Group. The festival, met with overwhelming interest, continued throughout the day with various activities and surprises.
