The Information Technology Directorate of Bodrum Municipality is extending the reach of its free internet service network to ensure faster and more convenient access to information for residents of the district.

In a bid to improve communication during emergencies, boost tourism and foster social interaction, the municipality is offering free symmetrical internet service at speeds of up to 100 Mbps in public shared spaces.

Initially covering the city center, the 'Bodrum_Belnet_Free' wireless network now extends its coverage, providing uninterrupted, unlimited, and free internet at speeds of up to 300 Mbps in various key areas including Bodrum city center, Bitez and Ortakent-Yahşi coastlines, Turgutreis Square and Park Area, Yalıkavak Coastline and Square, Bodrum Market Area, Cevat Şakir Business Center Area, Bardakçı Windmills, Bodrum Municipality Central Building, BB Nurol & Herodot Cultural Centers, Gümbet Binnaz Karakaya Sport Center and Gümbet Cafe zones.

Residents in these areas requiring internet access can avail themselves of the 'Bodrum_Belnet_Free' wireless network connection at no cost.

Plans are in progress to further expand this initiative across the entire district.
