Mayor Aras emphasized the need for every corner of Bodrum, the city of the Republic, to be adorned with the national flag of Türkiye in a manner befitting the occasion. He said, 'I invite the citizens to decorate their homes and workplaces with our national flags and warmly welcome the 100th year with streets adorned in red and white.'

Following the concert titled 'One of Us, Mustafa Kemal,' which was performed in collaboration between Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and Bodrum Municipality as part of the Republic's 100th-anniversary celebrations, Mayor Ahmet Aras stated:

“Our celebrations will continue throughout the week in various locations in Bodrum. We have one request from our citizens. We want all homes and workplaces to be adorned with our national flags. While the municipality is decorating Bodrum with flags, we can only do so in specific areas and main streets. I invite our citizens to decorate their homes, streets, balconies and workplaces with flags and celebrate the 100th anniversary of our Republic with enthusiasm.”

Bodrum Municipality's Press, Publications & Public Relations Directorate, in collaboration with the Municipal Police Directorate, is distributing approximately 5,000 flags to shopkeepers throughout the peninsula.
