CITYWIDE ROAD CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES

Bodrum Municipality is carrying out improvement and expansion works in various parts of the city as part of its road construction efforts.

Under the scope of the works conducted on streets and lanes falling within the jurisdiction of Bodrum Municipality, old and deteriorated roads are being revitalized using modern asphalt technology, ensuring their longevity. Furthermore, maintenance and repair operations for sidewalks continue with the aim of enhancing pedestrian safety. Special attention is given to configuring pedestrian pathways for comfortable use by disabled citizens and aligning them harmoniously with the city's aesthetics.

43,887 Tons of Asphalt Used

As of January 2023, a total of 43,887 tons of asphalt has been laid down as part of the ongoing projects.

In various parts of the city: Gündoğan Neighborhood's Onbaşı Dede Street; Küçükbük Neighborhood's Farilya Avenue and Yamaç Street; Gündoğan Neighborhood's Şehit Uğur Öztop Avenue, 6884 Avenue, Atatürk (Farilya) Avenue and Aşık Veysel Avenue; Gümbet Neighborhood's İsmet İnönü Avenue and Turgutreis Avenue; Konacık Neighborhood's İsmet Paşa and Çırkan Avenues; Bitez Neighborhood's Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Avenue and Kavaklı Sarnıç Avenue; Gümbet Neighborhood's Ayaz Avenue and Erguvan Street, along with Adnan Menderes Avenue; and Yahşi Neighborhood's Hortma Avenue have all undergone asphalt work. Moreover, Fevzi Çakmak Paşa Avenue in Küçükbük Neighborhood and Atatürk Avenue in Gölköy Neighborhood, as well as Şükrü Çürük Street and 4360 Street in Akyarlar Neighborhood, have been asphalted.

Progress in Torba Neighborhood

As part of the endeavors in Torba Neighborhood, the teams have concluded asphalt-laying activities on Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, İnönü and Cevdet Göktepe Avenues, in addition to Fatma Girik, Beste, 3011, Keyif, Hercai, Hayal, Sadun Boro, Huzur, Özgürlük, Mutlu 1, Bedri Koraman, 13 Haziran, Ayçiçek, and 3026 Streets.

Concrete Road Construction

While persisting in concrete road construction operations across the city, the Bodrum Municipality's Civil Works Directorate has finalized the concrete pouring on Bahçelievler 7233 Street, Peksimet 5520 Street, Akyarlar Neighborhood's 4402 and 4354 Streets, and Top Tepesi Avenue.

Cadastral Road Opening and Arrangement

Within the scope of cadastral road opening and arrangement endeavors, the Civil Works Directorate teams have accomplished the road opening and stabilized road arrangement activities in several locations, including Ambar önü area in Mazı Neighborhood, Uzunkır Area in Gölbaşı Neighborhood, Yeniköy Mahallesi in Karaova Region, Yarengölü Area in Sazköy Neighborhood and Sığırağılı Area in Gölbaşı Neighborhood.
