STUDENTS VISIT STREET ANIMALS
Eighty students attending summer school in Bodrum paid a visit to their furry friends at the Bodrum Municipality Torba Street Animals Temporary Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Students and teachers from the İngiliz Kültür Koleji summer school visited the Torba Street Animals Temporary Care and Rehabilitation Center, which is under the Veterinary Affairs Directorate of Bodrum Municipality. They toured the center and received information about its operations. While spending time with the street animals, the students also handed over food and toys they had brought for their animal companions to the veterinary doctors.

Ercan Kontaş, a Turkish teacher at İngiliz Kültür College, expressed their admiration for the center, stating, "This year, as part of our summer school and Social Responsibility Project, we brought 80 students to Bodrum Municipality's animal shelter. When we toured the inside with our students, we saw that the shelter is in very good condition, well-maintained, and clean. This situation had a very positive impact on our students."

Engin Doğan, the Acting Director of Veterinary Affairs at Bodrum Municipality, emphasized the importance of these visits for children to develop a love for animals from a young age. Doğan, who stated that they attach great importance to such visits, also mentioned that they welcome other schools to the center.
