SISTER CITY PROTOCOL SIGNED BETWEEN BODRUM & PRIZREN MUNICIPALITIES

A sister city protocol has been signed between Bodrum Municipality and Prizren Municipality of the Republic of Kosovo.


The signing ceremony took place at the Mayoral Office and was attended by Mr. Mayor Aras, Shaqir Totaj, the Mayor of Prizren and Levent Buş, the Deputy Mayor of Prizren & Municipal Council Member of Prizren.

The Sister City Protocol aims to establish mutual benefits in the social, economic, and cultural domains and promote collaboration activities in areas such as tourism, culture, art, trade, and education. The protocol also includes the establishment of mechanisms that contribute to the development and strengthening of cooperation between the two municipalities through projects and practices supporting progress in education, science, and technology. Within the framework of the sister city relationship, mutual visits, seminars, and conferences are planned between the two municipalities.

Mayor Aras expressed his belief that the sister city protocol will further strengthen the bonds between the two cities and their people. Aras stated, "This partnership with Prizren will provide a strong opportunity for collaboration in cultural and economic fields. The interactions and exchanges between the two cities will yield valuable gains for both communities."

Prizren Mayor Shaqir Totaj expressed his excitement about becoming a sister city with Bodrum and stated, "This protocol will deepen the friendship and collaboration between Prizren and Bodrum. Through joint projects in the areas of culture, tourism, trade, and education, we will further enhance the relationship between the two cities.
