MUNICIPALITY CARRIES OUT CLEANING IN THE PENINSULA AND THE COVES

Bodrum Municipality has conducted coastal cleaning and maintenance works in the peninsula and coves.
As part of the operations carried out with the municipality's boat named "Clean Sea," (Temiz Deniz) municipal teams performed tasks such as maintenance and pruning of trees on the islands and bays, as well as cleaning, maintenance, and painting of cisterns. Additionally, the teams responsible for collecting waste from boats visiting the bays also provide food and water for the needs of the animals living in nature.
Before the Eid al-Adha holiday, Bodrum Municipality teams completed general cleaning operations in Çelebi Island, Adaboğazı, Karaada, Küçük Poyraz, Büyük Poyraz, Sinekli, Harıplı, Kamışlı, Koca Yalı, Dangır, Taşlı Yalı, Mıstan Yalısı, Sarnıçlı, Pabuç, Orak Island, and Kissebükü coves.
Being of great importance for both marine tourism and the sustainability of natural life, the cleaning efforts, allow visitors to enjoy pleasant times in clean and well-maintained coves. The municipality aims to contribute to the healthy living of the organisms in natural habitats through these works.
Mayor Aras stated that these efforts are carried out to preserve Bodrum's natural beauty and leave a clean environment for future generations.
While Bodrum Municipality continues its activities to raise environmental awareness and protect natural beauty, the sensitivity of all segments of society is also of great importance in preserving the seas and bays of Bodrum.
