THE MUNICIPALITY COMPLETES 45,000 TONS OF ASPHALT PAVING

Bodrum Municipality continues its asphalt paving works in areas, where infrastructure projects have been completed in the city. Within the scope of the project, the Directorate of Civil Works has carried out 45,000 tons of asphalt paving throughout the city since the beginning of the year.

Alongside the ongoing sewer line works conducted by Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, the electricity line renewal works by Aydem and the strengthening of internet lines by Telekom, the municipal teams are conducting asphalt paving works in the areas where the projects have been completed on the peninsula.

As part of these works, the following locations have completed asphalt paving: Hortma Street in Yahşi Neighborhood, 2614 Street in Ortakent Neighborhood, Çırkan Street in Çırkan Neighborhood, 5078 Street in Gümüşlük Neighborhood, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Avenue, İsmet İnönü Avenue, Funda Street, Cevdet Gökçe Avenue in Torba Neighborhood, Kavaklı Sarnıç Street and Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Avenue in Konacık Neighborhood, Stadium Street and 7852 Street in Akçaalan Neighborhood, Akdeniz Avenue in Gölköy Neighborhood, and Keleş Harim Street in Türkbükü Neighborhood.

Mayor Aras made the following remarks regarding the road construction works:

"Ensuring that the roads in our neighborhoods are organized, safe and accessible is among our top priorities to improve the quality of life for our citizens. Therefore, we are continuing our road construction works at an intense pace and making plans to cover all neighborhoods. We believe that the majority of the infrastructure works will be completed by the end of the year. We will also continue our efforts to improve the general infrastructure of the city at the same pace."

The Directorate of Civil Works of Bodrum Municipality is currently carrying out hot asphalt paving works on Akyarlar Şükrü Çürük Avenue, Torba 13 Haziran Street, Torba Bedri Koraman Street, Kumbahçe Sarı Agahoğlu Ali Efendi Street, Türkbükü 109 Street, Farilya Avenue in Farilya Neighborhood, and Hebil Avenue in Hekimköy.
