GOODWILL PROTOCOL SIGNED BETWEEN OGRODZIENIEC & BODRUM MUNICIPALITIES
The Municipality of Ogrodzieniec in Poland's Silesian region and Bodrum Municipality have signed a Goodwill Protocol before the step of establishing a sister city relationship.

A delegation from the Polish Local Government, the delegation that arrived in Bodrum with the valuable contributions of Irfan Kılıç, the General Manager of POLONYA - REGO BIS TOUR and Adnan Maviyıldırım, the owner of Bodrum - LUXE VACATION TOUR Türkiye Office, paid a visit Ahmet Aras, the Mayor of Bodrum in his office. The delegation included Mayor Anna Pilarczyk of Ogrodzieniec, Mayor Waldermar Trelka from the Radom Region, Mayor Małgorzata Chrapek of Wieprz, Mayor Małgorzata Maluch of Sękowa, Mayor Tadeusz Klama from the Kolno Region, Mayor Adam Lubiak of Wołomin, Mayor Wiesława Sieńkowska of Komarów, Mayor Tadeusz Bąk of Wójnicz, Mayor Marek Bzdek of Bochnia, Boner Foundation Manager Martyna Duda, and Mayor Jadwiga Zawadzka of Kruszyna.

Following the visit, a "Goodwill Protocol" was signed between the municipalities of Ogrodzieniec and Bodrum, paving the way for a sister city relationship. In addition, Mayor Adam Lubiak of Wołomin and Mayor Ahmet Aras of Bodrum also signed a "Goodwill Protocol" to facilitate mutual visits and exchanges in the fields of science, education, culture, and art between the students and teachers of the two cities.

The protocol signed aims to promote mutual cultural, artistic, and sports activities between Bodrum Municipality and Ogrodzieniec Municipality in order to achieve common benefits in social, economic, and cultural areas. Collaborative efforts will be made to preserve and develop shared history through cooperation in historical and cultural contexts. Mechanisms will be established to contribute to the development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation through projects and practices that have an impact on the education, science, and technology sectors of both parties. Within the framework of the sister city relationship, mutual work visits, seminars, conferences, and exchanges will be organized between the two municipalities.

Mayor Pilarczyk of Ogrodzieniec stated, 'I believe that our friendship between Ogrodzieniec and Bodrum will be further strengthened with the signing of this goodwill protocol. We will take significant steps in preserving and developing our history through mutual cultural interaction and cooperation. This sisterhood relationship will enhance the quality of life for both the people of Ogrodzieniec and Bodrum and provide mutual benefits for both cities.'

Mayor Aras of Bodrum said, 'This connection between Ogrodzieniec and Bodrum will encourage cooperation in cultural, economic, and social areas. The events to be held between the two cities will strengthen the bonds of friendship among our people and increase mutual understanding. The signing of this protocol will open the door to new opportunities for both cities.'

After visiting Mayor Ahmet Aras, the delegation also had the opportunity to visit the Bodrum Maritime Museum and experience the cultural heritage of Bodrum.
