NEW GEN - WATER FOUNTAINS IN BODRUM PARKS

New generation water fountains are being installed in the parks of Bodrum by the Municipality.
Produced by the Municipal Directorate of Support Services, these fountains have been placed in the parks of Bodrum for public use. The aim is to reduce plastic usage and provide visitors with healthy and safe drinking water while visiting the parks.
Initially, the water fountains with purification systems were placed in Umurça, ‘Turgutreis Şevket Sabancı’ and ‘Yalıkavak Engin Büyüksöylemez’ Parks and it is reported that the number of these fountains shall be increased and placed in walking paths, schools and squares outside of the parks as well.
Samples of water taken from the new gen water fountains, which also have a hand-washing section, are regularly checked by the Muğla Public Health Laboratory of the Provincial Directorate of Health.
