FINAL PREPARATIONS FOR MUNICIPAL PUBLIC BEACHES

Preparations for quality and affordable public beaches for Bodrum locals and visitors to the city continue before the season by the Bodrum Municipality. This season, a total of 77 municipal public beaches shall be in service throughout the Bodrum Peninsula.
The Municipal Directorate of support services continues its services throughout the peninsula to ensure that citizens can comfortably benefit from the beaches and the sea.
Close to 1,500 umbrellas have been placed in a total of 77 public beaches, 11 of which have been awarded the Blue Flag in the peninsula. The municipal teams are also renovating changing cabins and showers to make them more durable and practical. While the renewal of the lifeguard towers, the placement of buoys in the sea, and leveling works throughout the beach continue, cleaning and maintenance works will also be continuously carried out during the season.
Ahmet Aras, the Mayor of Bodrum expressed that with the understanding of social municipality, services continue to increase every year and the number of public beaches has been increased from 15 in 2016 to 77 in 2023. He also stated that the municipality shall continue to work throughout the season to ensure that citizens benefit from the beaches in the most efficient way and they are working with all their might to improve the quality of the municipality's services.
