After the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş, that deeply wounded our country, the citizens who survived continue to leave the region. The Özdemir family, who lived in Hatay came to Bodrum and had a baby in their arms, they named Defne.

On February 6, the apartment of the Özdemir family in Hatay was severely damaged in the earthquakes centered in Pazarcık and Elbistan in Kahramanmaraş province. The Özdemir family, who were caught in the earthquake shortly before the mother giving birth, were brought to Bodrum and placed in a hotel.

The earthquake survivor mother, who gave birth to her child in the Bodrum State Hospital, along with her baby Defne, came to the hotel where they were placed. The mother and daughter, whose health conditions are quite good, were visited by the Bodrum Municipality the Directorate of Media & Public Relations Department - teams.

Having conveyed the greetings and love of Mr. Mayor Aras, the municipal public relations team said that they would be at service of Işıl Özdemir, the mother and little Defne for all their needs.
