BODRUM MUNICIPALITY IS SUPPORTING STUDENTS WITH MEALS

Bodrum Municipality is delivering meals to students, who go to school by school shuttle.
Having supported within the scope of education supports the students providing stationery equipments at the beginning of the first semester of the 2022-2023 term, Bodrum Municipality is providing school shuttle to the students and the service of delivering the meals as well, which is one of the basic needs of them.
The Meals prepared by the culinary students of ‘Bodrum Turgut Reis Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School’ in the field of food and beverage services, together with their teachers and master instructors, are delivered by the ‘Bodrum Municipality - Directorate of Support Services’ to the schools, to where the students go by school shuttles from all over the peninsula.
Mert Kavak, the principal of ‘Bodrum Turgut Reis Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School’ stated that they prepare meals with great care and devotion with the students and that he is pleased on behalf of his institution for making such a contribution to the other students in the peninsula, who devote considerable time on their way to school.
Ahmet Aras, the Mayor of Bodrum said, “We are aware of the equality of opportunity in education, one of the most important achievements of our Republic, and we are working with all our strength to ensure that every student in Bodrum can benefit from education opportunities equally. We have provided support amounting to 4 million 500 thousand TL from furniture needs to electrical installation maintenance. We continue to provide services for our university students and some of our schools in need,”.
Meal support for a total of 1,400 transported education students from 14 schools will continue until June.
