FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE BY BODRUM MUNICIPALITY TO THE STUDENTS

Bodrum Municipality continues its services with social municipal understanding.
In addition to the education support provided to the students by the Bodrum Municipality, shuttle service have started for the students. In this regard, shuttle service was lastly provided to the students of ‘Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University - Bodrum Fine Arts Faculty’.
In order for students to provide free transportation to their schools, a shuttle service was started by the ‘Bodrum Municipality - Directorate of Support Services’. Regarding the service, Tayfun Yılmaz, the Deputy Mayor of Bodrum stated that as Bodrum Municipality they adopted the understanding of social municipality, they have started this service in order to contribute to the economy of students and their families.
Having emphasized that the students shall be supported at every stage of their education lives, Tayfun Yılmaz, the Deputy Mayor of Bodrum added: “We are organized tp provide free transportation to 170 students. We are happy to have contributed to you and the budget of your families. We have to support our students, teachers and the working class as well. In this regard, we have provided this service and we shall continue to do so.”
Municipal Shuttle Service Is Provided in Other Neighborhoods As Well
Bodrum Municipality is providing shuttle service to a total of 188 students from various age goups from the neighborhoods: Peksimet, Kadıkalesi, Yalıkavak, Gündoğan and Koyunbaba as well. Having provided the transports of 380 patients in the first 9 months of 2022, Bodrum Municipality is providing transportation support service to the students of disadvantaged groups and their parents as well.
