BODRUM MUNICIPALITY CONTINUES ROAD IMPROVEMENTS ACROSS THE DISTRICT

Bodrum Municipality is carrying out road improvement works in five neighbourhoods to improve driving conditions and make local roads safer. Coordinated by the municipality’s Directorate of Public Works, the works are being carried out by municipal teams and contractors under a tender programme in Gümüşlük, Bahçelievler, Konacık, Kumköy and Yakaköy. The programme includes concrete road construction, asphalt surfacing and paving, with roads being renewed and improved according to local needs.
Road improvement works are under way on Adnan Menderes, İsmet İnönü and Cumhuriyet avenues in Gümüşlük. Binder asphalt is currently being laid on Cumhuriyet Avenue.
In Bahçelievler, existing paving stones are being removed and relaid. Similar removal and renewal works are continuing on Derya Koç Street in Konacık as part of the tender programme.
Concrete road works are being carried out in the İrmene area of Kumköy, coordinated by the Directorate of Public Works.
In Yakaköy, municipal asphalt teams began asphalt-laying works on the Ormantepe road this morning, using a motor grader as part of the operation.
Bodrum Municipality will continue its scheduled road maintenance, repair and renewal programme to strengthen local transport infrastructure, improve road conditions and make everyday journeys more comfortable for residents.
