MONGOLIAN DELEGATION VISITS BODRUM MUNICIPALITY

A 17-member delegation of managers and employees from a private urban cleaning company based in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, visited Bodrum Municipality’s Cleaning Affairs Directorate to exchange expertise on municipal cleaning services and environmental management. During the visit, municipal staff shared information on Bodrum’s city-wide cleaning operations, technical equipment, vehicle fleet and technologies. The delegation also discussed municipal services and environmental cleaning practices in Türkiye and Mongolia.
Hosted by the Directorate of Cleaning Affairs, the delegation learned about smart waste management, recycling initiatives and operational programmes designed to meet the increased demand for cleaning services during the tourist season.
Representatives from Ulaanbaatar also shared their experience of delivering urban cleaning services in Mongolia. Following the discussions, the delegation visited the municipal operations depot in Konacık to inspect the vehicles and technical equipment used in cleaning operations. The visitors thanked Bodrum Municipality officials for their hospitality and for sharing technical knowledge and operational experience.
